Description of the Volunteer Opportunity:
SCLT is looking for members on our Board of Directors. Our board is volunteer based and is made up of 3 residential owner leaseholders, 3 general members, 3 public members, one commercial leaser, and one rental leaseholder. We have 5 open positions. (1 residential owner/leaseholder, 1 general, and 3 public). Terms are a 3 year commitment and members are elected with approval of the community we serve. SCLT is a nonprofit that owns and holds land “in trust” for the benefit of the community while preserving the affordability of the housing on the land…permanently. As a board member, you will be an integral part of our current operations as well as have the opportunity to help drive our community forward in accordance with our goals and mission.
