Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 
Work with Middle School girls to discover the tools they need to develop healthy, postive realtionships! Guide them as they discover ways to advocate for themselves and others! Help girls navigate the Middle School environment-and be part of the change to make it better!
Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 
Middle School girls, in the 6th-8th grade, will participate in this 5-day workshop.
Nonprofit Will Provide: 
Girl Scouts of New Mexico Trails will provide all the training and support, their will be a Youth Development Specialist on hand at all times. Meals and snacks provided!
Additional Requirements: 
Volunteers will need to attend a training to be scheduled prior to the day camp. They will also need to fill out a volunteer application and submit to a background check. This is provided at no cost to the volunteer and insures the saftey of the girls we serve.
