Project Description: 
Alta Mira Arts, a new program, needs volunteers to photograph art produced by people with developmental disabilities and to help the artists to practice talking about their art to prospective buyers.

More details: 
Art classes are held on Fridays from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 4pm. Volunteers are needed to both photograph completed works of art so that students can begin to develop a digital portfolio. The students also need practice talking about their art.
Nonprofit/Agency will provide: 
Digital camera and storage media provided. Volunteers willing to bring their own photographic equipment also welcome as well. There are no requirements for helping students to speak about their artwork, other than a willingness to ask questions, provide positive and encouraging feedback, and patience. Unique opportunity to provide a person with developmental disabilities social interaction and encouragement. Your time spent volunteering will definitely change a life ~ maybe even your own.

Please wear comfortable clothes that you would not mind getting a little dirt or paint on. Although the project is not inteneded to be messy, we've been known to splash a little paint around. Please bring your patience, an open mind and a sense of humor.
