New Mexico First is offering a consensus-building training, using the circle-keeping facilitation method. Circle keeping is a non-linear, culturally competent, relationship based and values-driven approach to dialogue and community decision-making.
Participants will build an understanding of non-linear deliberative processes to reach consensus in public policy decision making. Through the use of experiential exercises, participants will have opportunity to practice and refine circle-keeping skills. 

The training will prepare participants to be part of the facilitation teams at the 2020 New Mexico First Town Hall - Healthcare: Body, Mind, and Spirit. The training will take place on March 26 and 27, from 8:30 am - 5  pm on March 26 and 8:30 am - 1 pm on March 27.
