Main Areas of Responsibility:
Responsible for scheduling pickup and delivery of furniture and household goods at In-Kind Donation Center. Supervise and schedule volunteers and team drivers, providing administrative support to the Director in the areas of receiving and processing incoming orders/calls, database management, preparing reports and ensuring equipment and truck are properly maintained.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Maintain In-Kind areas (cleanliness and sorting accuracy).
This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent; 2 years of experience in related field preferred; excellent written and verbal communication skills are required; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred. Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision and able to relate to the public. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly – this is not a traditional office setting.
