Main Areas of Responsibility:
Performs a range of office and clerical tasks related to class management including record keeping, data entry, word processing, course registrations, preparing materials, signs, and refreshments, setting up and taking down classrooms, and performing other office and course management duties as needed.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
RENESAN holds classes Monday-Thursday, 10AM-5:15PM during two academic terms. The Administrative Assistant is expected to be in the office during business hours Monday-Thursday, January-April and August-November and additional days as needed. The Administrative Assistant reports to the Executive Director.
High School Diploma or GED. 6 months of experience in office administrative support; working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, course registration software, etc.; ability to work with multiple deadlines, interruptions, and changing priorities; comfortable maintaining cordial, professional working relationships with students, instructors, board members, vendors, and the public.
