Main Areas of Responsibility:
This position is responsible for effective execution of HR support functions including recruiting, researching employment laws, policies, procedures, reporting, compliance, and administrative functions; maintains employee confidence; and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Must have an awareness of federal and state employment related laws and regulations; Update HRIS with employee changes/data entry as needed; assist with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations; and report to the Director of Human Resources.
This position requires a BA degree in Human Resources or other relevant field preferred; H.S. diploma or equivalent; 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified; strong computer skills, including knowledge of MS Suite, web-based applications and HR-related systems; able to prioritize work and work efficiently while constantly adapting to changing priorities; and exceptional people and communication skills (both verbal and written). Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
