Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

This position is responsible for assisting the CEO with coordinating, scheduling, and the day to day management of the office's communication, meetings, interacting with staff, volunteers, the general community and other stakeholders such as government agencies, private foundations, the Catholic Church, CCUSA, other associations, and individual donors in the community.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

This position assists with special projects addressing situations of mutual concern and other stakeholders such as local, state, and federal government, civic organizations, the community, and other collaborators. Primary liaison to the Board of Directors in facilitating communication, meetings, and special events.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This position requires a BA degree in related field required, such as public administration, business, economics, management, nonprofit administration (MA degree preferred); Or minimum of 3 years of exp. in related field; and demonstrated experience in support of a similar position, local economic research, and government programs/funding, participating in program development and implementation activities. Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
