Main Areas of Responsibility: 

As a key member of the Executive Management Team, the Chief Financial Officer reports to the Co-CEOs and assumes a strategic role in the overall financial management of the organization. Day-to-day responsibility for controlling all financial-related activities including accounting, IT, budgeting, and strategic planning.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Manage daily accounting operations including ledger functions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed asset management, and financial reporting; supervises Medicaid billing, payroll, & IT staff; manages all grants, including monthly billing/reporting; coordinates audit processes; prepares monthly financial statements and annual budget for the Board of Directors and exec. management team; maintains agency insurance; and prepares annual audit schedules, program documentation, and audit support.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This position requires a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting; 7+ years experience in an executive leadership position; experience with Nonprofit accounting and reporting; CPA license preferred; strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with staff at all levels of the organization; exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills; strong computer and technology skills with high proficiency in MS Office suite; experience with MIP and Microix software a plus.
