Main Areas of Responsibility:
The CFO provides leadership, management and oversight of all LFMC financial functions, including budgeting, patient and general business accounting, grants accounting and management, internal and external reporting, billing and collections, payroll, procurement, internal controls, and business and casualty insurance, consistent with applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations,
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
The CFO must be familiar with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), applicable grant terms and conditions, insurance program and other contractual obligations, and Governing Board-approved financial policies of LFMC. All employees are responsible for observing the six LFMC Organizational Values as part of their roles and responsibilities: Compassion, Respect, Integrity, Quality, Accountability, and Teamwork.
Master’s degree in finance or accounting from an accredited college of business administration or management with a minimum of five (5) years job related experience; or, Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting with a minimum of seven (7) years of job related experience. Management experience leading core financial functions in a health care setting, with an emphasis on revenue cycle and budget; recent health care accounting experience in the Federally Qualified Health Center environment highly desirable.
