Collaborative Support Coordinator

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Collaborative Support Coordinator position falls under the direction of the Executive Director(s) of the NMFCIJ and is responsible for duties related to the case management and coordination of court accompaniment support that the NMFCIJ provides for local immigrants. The coordinator will manage and facilitate coordination training for collaborative support volunteer. The Coordinator will participate and facilitate the monthly Collaborative Support Committee meetings.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Complete initial intake for new families or individuals seeking support
• Coordinate volunteers to work with immigrant families or individuals
• Support the facilitation of monthly meetings for the Direct Service Committee volunteers
• Record and organize intake and exit form data
• Co-Coordinate training and management for Direct Service volunteers
• Co-Coordinate the court accompaniment logistics

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Lived experience or experience working with immigrant, asylum-seeking, or refugee communities or organizations
• Background in Community Health Work, Psychology, Peer Support or related field
• Experience in working or volunteering with the immigrant community and/or support organizations serving immigrants
