Main Areas of Responsibility:
Independently provide ongoing and direct community support services to individuals with severely disabling mental illness as part of an inter-disciplinary treatment team. Spend considerable time (at least 60%) in the community to engage/coordinate support services (family, physicians, psychiatrists…) for each client as needed.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Provide support to clients through individual, family, and group modalities. In office and home visitations are required. Work as a member of the TLS Treatment Team and participate in group supervision. Perform a variety of casework duties including: analyzing/assessing clients’ psychosocial and multi-systemic needs; level of family functioning; formulation of individual clinical service/treatment plans for each client; implementation of services to assigned clients; provide advocacy for clients as needed.
Bachelor's in social work, psychology, or related field, plus one (1) year of post-Bachelor’s experience in clinical casework, including or supplemented by one (1) year experience in social services. Preferred:Three (3) years of post-Bachelor’s experience in clinical casework working with severely mentally disabled individuals, including or supplemented by three (3) years experience in social services.
