Main Areas of Responsibility:
This position will be responsible for strategies related to donor solicitation and cultivation, non-federal grant management, public relations, online media (website & social media), and traditional media (radio, TV & print). This position coordinates, implements, and manages successful fundraising campaigns and special events.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
This position oversees the organization’s engagement with the public through agency events, information sharing and responding to public and media inquiries, including crisis response; and develops external and internal communication in coordination with the CEO, executive vice presidents of subsidiary corporations, and other senior staff.
This position supervises staff responsible for donor relations, grant development, and application and communications for the agency. You must have a BA degree in communications, public relations, marketing, nonprofit administration (Master’s degree preferred); and 4-6 years’ experience in communications or similar field, successfully achieving/exceeding targeted goals and supervising a small team of professionals.
