Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Director of Family Outreach Albuquerque provides administrative leadership to all programs and services offered in the assigned area. The Director organizes and executes programs that are consistent with the MCH Model of Care and ensure a safe, caring and therapeutic environment for those served. This position also requires respect and compassionate understanding for these children and their families.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
The Director of Family Outreach must have a thorough understanding of and demonstrated competency in the Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) and other evidence-based programs offered in the assigned area. This position involves frequent contact with consumers, program staff, MCH employees, community agencies, vendors, donors, visitors and other stakeholders.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field is required with a Master’s Degree preferred. The Director of Family Outreach must have or be eligible to obtain the administrator license(s) within 12 months of accepting the position.
