Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Operations Director will develop and oversee a non-profit program of new adult day services (ADS). The ADS will provide approximately 10-15 elderly participants with a daily program of stimulating activities and nutritional meals that meet their interests and needs and support healthy aging in a safe environment.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Recruits clients; makes a plan of care; reports on participants’ progress; hires, trains and supervises staff; ensures adherence to the State of New Mexico licensing requirements for adult day services and to all Life Circle policies and procedures; works with the Activities Coordinator and Volunteer Coordinator; manages the agreement with the food supplier, and; manages current and future grant activities.
Have completed at least a bachelor’s degree from a nationally accredited institution of education, preferably in a health related field, or be a registered nurse. A master’s degree is preferred. Have at least two years of experience and training in services to elderly and/or caring for elderly and/or handicapped adults. Experience with Administration and Supervision. Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
