Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating all donation pick-up and deliveries, as well as receiving all merchandise, processing monthly reporting of sales, and day-to-day tasks associated with maintaining thrift shop operations, including but not limited to maintaining adequate stock, merchandising, and working with customers and volunteers.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
The Specialist will also ensure storage and inventory control are organized and properly placed in the store or storage units; follow quality and safety duties including inspecting and storing products to ensure quality; follow proper cleaning and sanitation procedures; and operate equipment in a safe and focused manner while tracking date and rotation of products.
The Specialist must demonstrate the ability to be organized; to work independently and with a team; and to provide the highest quality working and shopping experience. The Specialist must possess strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, and the ability to multi-task.
