Main Areas of Responsibility:
An entry-level position within the Exhibits & Facilities team. Requires thorough communication with all working groups of the museum, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail. The Logistics Tech will provide the necessary materials, documentation, service, and information to ensure that Explora’s exhibits are functioning on the exhibit floor.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Be thoroughly familiar with all of Explora’s exhibits, their use, required materials, and maintenance; receive and address exhibit work orders as deemed necessary by the Exhibit Technician and Exhibits Director; and participate in and assist in the development of regular exhibit maintenance procedures.
Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent work experience in vocational/technical trades; interest in formal or informal education and curiosity about learning; well-developed organizational, time management, and intrapersonal skills; and expressed interest in scientific and artistic phenomena.
