Main Areas of Responsibility:
The purpose of the FSS is to work with families that have experienced domestic violence and trauma, and to help each family achieve the goals of the Family Success Plan and graduate from the program; carrying a caseload as assigned by the Program Director; connecting Families to resources and support to address the trauma associated with domestic violence and homelessness; and assist families in strategies that break the cycle of domestic violence and homelessness.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Carrying a family case-load as assigned by Family Support Program Director which includes enrolling parents; conducting an initial family needs and strength assessment; and using a strengths-based model to assist parents to create and monitor an individualized Family Success Plan for identifying and reaching goals related to becoming re-housed, stable and self-sufficient.
