Financial Manager

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Financial Manager is to oversee financial matters of nonprofit organization serving children & adults with developmental disabilities. The candidate must have experience in financial planning, strong financial skills including budget, payroll, accounts receivable, reconciliation, financial statements, and billing practices (DOH, Medicaid, private insurance billing). This role ensures that the organization is in compliance with agency, state and federal financial policies and requirements.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

You must have strong attention to detail; well organized with a commitment to financial integrity; and knowledge of and ability to adhere to principals and standards for effective controls and monitoring. The right candidate will have the ability to work in a rapidly changing, multi-tasked, team-oriented environment.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in related field and 5 years of direct experience in nonprofit accounting/ financial management.
