Main Areas of Responsibility:
Major functions of the job are to:
• Ensure that protected individuals guarantee the greatest degree of safety for any assets and services in their best interest
• Ensure the timely submission of all required reports (including financial reports and accounting) to the appointing court and to persons served by the guardianship fiscal agent
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
• Manage guardianship correspondence, submit monthly billable time, manage Medicaid billing to guardianship contractor
• Attend monthly client case review meetings
Qualifications: bachelor's degree is preferred; experience with intellectually and/or developmentally disabled population is preferred. Social work background helpful. Understanding of New Mexico's state social service system preferred.
Must pass a federal background check and successfully test for and obtain a Center for Guardianship Certification (CGC) within 18 months of employment with The Arc of NM.
$30-$35,000, DOE plus $1,000 on-call stipend
