To bring about systemic change for animals in New Mexico by supporting the passage of legislation at the state, local, and federal level, including but not limited to direct lobbying, bill development, coalition work, and public campaigns.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Must be Mac computer literate; be Microsoft products literate; have ability to work non-traditional hours, esp. during legislative sessions; have written & verbal communication skills; be organized; be deadline responsive; be team-oriented; be calm under pressure; and be familiar with New Mexico politics and in general. Spanish and/or indigenous language preferred.
