Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Hacia School Readiness Facilitator is a full-time position reporting directly to the Hacia Project Manager. The Hacia School Readiness Facilitator works primarily with Pre-K and elementary students and their families and will be trained intensely to facilitate family workshops and success plans. The Hacia School Readiness Facilitator is a 40 hour+/week salary position. Evening and/or weekend work may be required.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

This position is responsible for coordinating and facilitating workshops and Success Plans; recruitment and engagement; manage family data; providing students and families the resources and tools; and representing Hacia and SCC in social, professional and foundation events/presentations.

Other Information/Requirements: 

You must have experience working with Pre-k- 5th grade students and their parents/guardians; experience working with Mexican/Hispano/Chicano and/or immigrant communities; a Bachelor’s Degree; personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to and passion for the Hacia mission; the ability to make a 2-year commitment to the organization; the ability to pass an APS background check; and a valid NM driver’s license and reliable transportation.
