Housing Manager

Job Description
Type of Job: 
Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

• Supervise direct reports
• Oversee programs, program participants, housing plans and cooperative agreements
• Coordinate exit strategies/applicable extensions
• Provide crisis intervention as needed
• Ensure policies/procedures are current and compliant
• Ensure facilities/programs meet regulations
• Ensure client records/charts are maintained
• Prepare reports and monitoring activities for funding sources
• Review and sign leases
• Prepare monthly Board of Directors reports

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Key Competencies
• Ability to relate to individuals and families experiencing homelessness
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Excellent computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• First Aid and CPR certifications
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and/or a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience. Bilingual preferred. Salary $40,000 - $45,000 compensation commensurate with experience. Base schedule is Monday through Friday 8 a.m. – 4:30 pm and hours outside of this schedule may be required. Flexibility in schedule is required. This is a salaried/exempt position and as such employee holding this position is expected to work whatever hours are necessary to effectively execute the duties and responsibilities of the job.
