Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Information Technology Specialist I is a support member within the Information Management & Technology Services Department, and will provide support services for computers, peripherals, servers, network equipment and software/hardware needs.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
This position will work closely with all IMTS members, end-users and coordinate support efforts with 3rd Party support vendors whether onsite or remotely; and will have an emphasis on customer support to provide excellent customer service for all end users.
This position requires a two-year degree in Computer Science and/or Technical School Completion; or three years of experience in computer operations; or providing technical computer support for users with some networking and telecommunication support. You must possess excellent communication skills; Certifications in A+, Network+, and MCSE (2016 track) are desirable but not required; and other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
