Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Exciting opportunity for dynamic individual as full-time Executive Assistant. Assist with implementation of programs, fundraising and special events for statewide non-profit educational organization: manage databases, facilitate program and donor acknowledgment, support program and alumni programs, assist with creation of e-newsletter and annual report, support public relations and marketing efforts, create and distribute public relations and marketing materials.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Coordinate planning and implementing of programs and special events; assist with education and alumni programs, and special events; ensure maintenance of speaker and volunteer files, program evaluations and databases; assist with newsletter and grant proposal development and editing; provide administrative support.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Must have BA, 2-3 years experience in non-profit or equivalent. Desired skills: self motivated, team player, professional, adaptable/flexible, accurate/timely, clear communicator, multi-tasking orientation, ability to work with strong, varied personalities, and an interest in learning. Computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Access); strong communication skills, good quality spelling, grammar, punctuation, proven editing skills; and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
