Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Supervisor serves as the point of contact for referrals and assessment/home visits for potential residents. The Supervisor is also responsible for the admission of new residents, including coordinating with the referring agency, conducting intake with family members, and creating the client binder; and oversight of medications, including the safe storage, administration, charting, and counting of controlled substances.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
The Supervisor will also check in regularly with caregivers and provide support; ensure protocols are being followed; be on call when a resident passes; and have a weekly check in with the Executive Director.
• 2 years experience in the Hospice field
• 2 years of supervisory experience
• Ability to navigate stressful situations, work with a variety of caregivers and agencies, while providing supportive input to families.
