Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Assistant serves as the organization’s first point of contact; maintains lines of communication with clients, staff, and members of the Board of Directors; ensures office functionality; and provides ongoing and special project assistance across all departments and plays a critical role in maintaining client and donor records. They must demonstrate high quality communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility, and strong ability to work independently and as a team member.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
This position requires front office/administrative experience; proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software; exceptional communication, time management, and problem solving skills; and the ability to work independently and as a member of a team. These skills are fundamental to this position and will be more important during this unprecedented time of global pandemic. Each member of our staff is responsible for their own motivation, task maintenance, and accomplishments.
Currently, we are operating on a hybrid schedule in which most staff are working part-time in office and part-time remotely. This position will be expected to work in-office at least a few hours each week. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position. $15/hour starting pay. Reports to the office manager.
