Main Areas of Responsibility: 

JLA is seeking an Operations Assistant for part-time (< 10 hours/week) employment to monitor the finances, develop, and maintain an electronic records system and ensure office functionality. The Operations Assistant will maintain lines of communication with members, other staff, contractors, and others and serve as a back-up to the Office Manager.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Duties to include general operations support, maintain financial records, assist in tax form preparation, develop and maintain electronic records system, basic website maintenance. and communications support. The Operations Assistant will coordinate with the board of directors and management team, to transfer knowledge of business processes and information to incoming board of directors and management team.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Starting pay will be $14/hour with an evaluation after the first 90 days, in-office work required, and employment is through May 31, 2022 with potential extension based on performance and funding.
Skills needed: bookkeeping, Quickbooks, Microsoft Office Suite, ability to learn new software, work online, problem-solving, and independent and team work.
