Main Areas of Responsibility:
This role will perform administrative tasks such as photocopy, scan, fax, mail, organizing & filing tasks; facilitate communication with various participants, including screening clients in-person and/or remotely; maintain phone logs of activities; and perform all administrative aspects of grant-making, including support with grant due-diligence. It requires a H.S. diploma or GED equivalent; AA or BA preferred; 2 years of clerical or related experience preferred,
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
This role requires proficiency in MS Office Suite, as well as a demonstrated aptitude to use computer/internet-based systems; an ability to show flexibility and resiliency in adjusting to the high need; and be able to calmly instruct the callers of program requirements and give referrals as needed. Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision and also work with a team.
The candidate must have a strong interest in helping others and the ability to respond to cultural differences present among the agency’s service population; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
