Main Areas of Responsibility: 

School and Teacher Partnerships - Develop and maintain partnerships w/schools and organizations, including via the Teacher Advisory Group. Assist w/coordination of the Museum Docent and Guide program.
Art & Leadership Program - Supervise summer program staff and interns, Develop program schedules, including field trips, artist visits, and staff training, Maintain program database and school/parent communications, Department support and collaboration.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Complete special projects or additional duties consistent with level of responsibility and other requirements for this position; and participate in evening and weekend activities as appropriate and requested.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in Art history, Museum Studies, or Art Education, or related study; 3 years’ experience working in a classroom or other educational setting; ability to work creatively and collaboratively on a team; excellent written and oral communications; strong interpersonal skills and ability to work empathetically with diverse audiences; and spanish/English bilingual language skills preferred.
