Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Regional Manager is responsible for the implementation of Walk to End Alzheimer’s fundraising events, meeting or exceeding goals through volunteer recruitment and engagement, as well as corporate development. Additionally, the position will implement the organization’s Care and Support strategic plan, increase service contacts, and reach new constituents through the successful engagement of volunteers. This position is based at the regional office in Roswell, NM.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
This role will manage Walk to End Alzheimer’s volunteer committee development, team recruitment and retention strategies, budget, timeline, marketing, PR, logistics, best practice implementation, and walk goals. In collaboration with the Program Director, this role will also execute the developed strategy to expand outreach to rural and underserved areas, health systems, long term care industries, and potential volunteer champions.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or a minimum of three years of experience in recruiting and mobilizing volunteers to achieve goals. Peer-to-peer fundraising experience or equivalent sales background preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
