Main Areas of Responsibility:
Each fall UWCNM hires several "Campaign Coordinators" who become an integral part of our corporate outreach and workplace giving campaigns. These temps will hone their skills in relationship management, account/event planning and public speaking, working approx. 35 hours/week from September 1 through mid-December. Flexibility is needed as some fundraising activities are conducted outside of regular business hours. Compensation is $15/hour (no benefits) paid through Excel Staffing.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Serve as the primary support for organizational accounts that raise up to $15,000 and assist the Corporate Relations team with larger workplace campaigns. 33% of this job is account management and engagement with community members to explain the vital work of UWCNM; 33% is helping to plan and support workplace giving campaigns, including presentations and events, to seek employee donations; 33% is preparing campaign materials, pledge form processing, and data entry.
Strong written/verbal communication skills; comfort with public speaking; ability to work in a team setting, but also manage projects/relationships with minimal supervision; proficiency with MS Office, SharePoint and virtual platforms such as Zoom; organized, detail-oriented, excellent time management/interpersonal skills; ability to work virtually with personal cell phone, computer and internet connectivity; business attire and reliable vehicle for travel to corporate sites (mileage is reimbursed).
