Main Areas of Responsibility:
Responsible for helping to implement/manage communications and engagement strategies to grow annual support; manage grants and contracts; facilitates collaboration & data collection; seek new funding and opportunities; supports Executive Management in stewarding partners, & presenting in public forums; works with leadership team to incorporate anti-racism into development and communications efforts; and assist with strategy for and implementation of new initiatives.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Write copy for multiple channels (internal communications, newsletters, direct mail, print materials, grants, letters, and digital outlets); assist with training and documents for employees to speak/write effectively about HopeWorks, ensuring a unified, consistent voice; develop cost-effective communication tactics; lead efforts to maintain and grow monthly giving programs; and use CRM DonorPerfect to run reports, enter and maintain data, track donor activity, and conduct prospecting.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; understands basic development principles; 4+ years development, marketing, communications, or comparable experience; outstanding written and verbal communication talents; and ability to work independently and monitor performance to meet goals and deadlines.
