Main Areas of Responsibility: 

La Familia Medical Center is looking for a reliable and precise professional Staff Accountant. We are seeking an experienced candidate to assist in preparing timely and accurate financial statements, assist with departmental budgets, and cost analysis.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting with a minimum of 5 years job related experience, preferably experience with a healthcare organization.

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

Other Information/Requirements: 

This position prepares monthly budget comparison reports for department directors/managers and assists in actual to budget analysis and program expense planning; performs month-end and year-end close activities including journal entries and reconciliations; and performs cost analysis reports and analyzes variances.
