Volunteer Program Manager

Job Description
Type of Job: 
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

• Set volunteer recruitment goals, implement recruitment strategies, track and report progress
• Serve as primary point of contact for all volunteers
• Coordinate relationships between staff and volunteers
• Train and supervise all volunteers
• Develop volunteer retention and stewardship strategies, track and report progress

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date volunteer records in eTapestry
• Develop community education program focused on deepening understanding of homelessness
• Expand the Home Team volunteer program
• Manage relevant communications

Other Information/Requirements: 

Successful applicants should posses a dedication to volunteerism and demonstrated ability to organize, delegate, give direction and implement feedback. This position requires availability to occasionally work evening hours and weekends. Pay range is $13-$15 per hour, with hiring at entry- to mid-level.
