Main Areas of Responsibility:
Work directly with the Executive Director to create a Recruitment Plan for Valencia County. Maintain documentation of all outreach activities to establish demographics and evaluate effectiveness. Schedule, coordinate, and perform presentations at local businesses and community events. Present new recruitment ideas to the Executive Director for approval. Coordinate marketing/advertising efforts with the Executive Director and/or Social Media Committee.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Seek new opportunities and initiatives to increase CASA awareness in Valencia County. Develop referral and networking resources for speaking and outreach. Develop, coordinate, and host community informational meetings and events. Act as a liaison between media and the Executive Director, including arranging interviews and helping the ED prepare for interviews.
Must have reliable and insured transportation. Demonstrate a high level of professionalism. Resourceful and self-starter. Schedule flexibility. Highly organized. Personable and appropriately dressed. High level of verbal and written skills. Strong public speaking skills. Strong Microsoft Office and technology skills. Associate/bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, child services, communications and/or marketing.
