New Mexico’s Only Nonprofit CPA Firm Undergoes Strategic Rebrand
After nearly a decade of serving New Mexico’s nonprofit community with professional back-office support services, the state’s only nonprofit CPA firm, Nonprofit Back Office Resources, will continue its work under a new brand identity as 501(C)PA.
Our organization was founded to support the nonprofit sector with professional financial and administrative services. With confidence in financial wellness, nonprofits are free to focus on what matters most: the mission.
-David Rivard, CEO of 501(C)PA
Nonprofits are experts in serving their communities. But many nonprofits face financial and administrative setbacks that can slow and even stall their work. The majority of these setbacks, from filing federal or state returns incorrectly to running into a cash shortfall because of flawed budgeting, are avoidable.
501(C)PA’s professional financial management and administrative services are built to be accessible, affordable and to reduce the risks in the nonprofit sector associated with accounting staff turnover and a lack of professional oversight. Instead of one person trying to do everything, 501(C)PA offers nonprofit specialists at all levels, from data entry and bookkeeping to CFO services and HR consulting.
According to Mara Matteson of the Keres Children’s Learning Center, “501(C)PA was able to quickly understand our complex information needs and transformed our accounting system from a collection of disparate spreadsheets into a tool we can use to make decisions about our project. They also have provided impeccable payroll services.”
Due to powerful, web-based fund-accounting software, organizations from around the state are able to take advantage of these services.
In addition to the new name, 501(C)PA has a new visual identity including a new logo and web presence, both of which can be found — along with more information about services or to schedule a consultation — at www.501CPA.org
