Mission Statement: 

Conservation Voters New Mexico Education Fund is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to making the protection of our natural heritage and cherished way of life a top priority for elected officials, political candidates, and voters across the state.

Programs: 

Our 2009 program priorities include: 

• Elevating global warming issues in partnership with the national League of Conservation Voters;
• Building upon our common agenda process to build community effectiveness among environmental nonprofits which engage policymakers at the state Legislature;
• Conducting nonpartisan civic engagement and evaluation in Albuquerque and Las Cruces;
• Using new social networking and video technologies to educate voters and elected officials on key environmental issues in New Mexico.
