We believe that all lives have meaning and offer peer support through our own experiences to individuals and families reaching toward recovery. We offer Seeking Safety gender specific trauma groups, family support groups and jail relapse prevention groups, as well as youth relapse prevention groups.
As a community, we can create change!
We serve addicted individuals and formerly incarcerated individuals,and their families. Our method of service is peer support, which is an evidence based practice recognized by SAMHSA.
We incorporate the Eight Dimensions of Wellness into service provision (emotional, physical, spiritual, financial, occupational, intellectual, social and environmental (SAMHSA).
We offer special expertise and support to individuals who are addicted to heroin/opiates.
Our services include: individual peer support, family peer support, group peer support-(juvenile ,women, and relapse prevention), yoga, physical fitness, job development assistance, GED tutoring, acupuncture detox, free clothing bank, and a children's corner so that parents can bring children in as well. We offer a full referral system to community resources and collaborates with many agencies, including courts and probation/parole.
Our services are free of charge, walk-ins are welcomed, and we offer services in English and Spanish.
