Mission Statement: 

PAWS is dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals,
the promotion of humane animal care through education,
and the reduction of overpopulation of companion animals.

Programs: 

1. Low/no cost spay/neuter programs
2.Humane animal education programs at our Pecos schoolhouse, public schools and at the mobile spay/neuter clinics
3. An emergency food bank for dogs and cats.
4.Sponsor the annual statewide New Mexico's Week for the Animals.
