Mission Statement: 

To shelter and empower survivors of intimate partner domestic violence and to improve the way New Mexico responds to this violence.


S.A.F.E. House provides safe emergency shelter to adult victims of intimate partner domestic violence and their dependents. 

The crisis line is staffed 24/7/365.

Case Management staff assist victims  to identify, access and obtain the services  they need as  to live violence free lives. 

Individual, group and family therapy ( family is defined as the victim and dependents and does not include the abuser)  is available for adults and children both in shelter and living in the community.

An array of educational groups for adults and children help them understand the violence they have experienced as well as offer parenting support and safety planning.

All shelter residents are provided with clothing, shoes, grooming, laundry and cleaning supplies. Three nutritious meals are served daily and snacks are available 24- hours.
