The physical structuring of our teams is becoming increasingly more flexible. The number of organizations that include entirely remote team members, part-time remote, or has flexible workplace policies is growing at a rapid rate. This changing approach offers a wide variety of benefits for both organizations as well as those individuals who make up their teams. It also provides a variety of new challenges in terms of how we stay connected and continue to do amazing work together.
In this course, we will look at what are some of the foundational elements of both sides of this relationship, identifying what is needed for an organization to set in place a structure, technology, and culture to support flexible and distributed teams. Also, exploring what is necessary for an individual to set themselves up for success as a remote or distributed team member. Only when both sides of the equation are balanced will we find we can do our best work as organizations.
Whether you currently work remotely, have a flexible workplace policy, or are considering making the leap, this course will provide tips, tools, strategies, and resources to help you set the foundation for greater success.
