Progress indicators are defined as measurable markers of progress, that when captured and tracked over time, signal whether you are making progress toward your desired outcomes
In this live online training, you’ll be shown how to take the progress indicators, which are covered in the first part of this training, and fine-tune them so that they truly fit your own work and context. We’ll explain and discuss how to use rubrics, which are structured frameworks that describe what it means to meet graduated standards. We’ll demonstrate how to take an advocacy progress indicator and translate it into your own rubric: what does it mean in your context to cultivate champions? Who are the champions? What exactly do you want them to do? We’ll then share how to use these rubrics as a way to combine data collection and reflection on progress. This allows you to leverage insider advocate knowledge to complete the rubric, while also actively using evaluation to inform internal learning and improvement.
