Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

We will plant 100 trees in Pana and Mile Hi! Please wear closed-toed shoes, bring water bottles and shovels. Hats and sunscreen recommended. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Loaders at 8am, planters at 9:30am.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

Pana and Mile Hi has less tree canopy than the Albuquerque average. Many walking paths are unshaded. Trees will provide this neighborhood with positive environmental and wildlife impacts, property value increases, more safety and energy savings.
