Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Please come help us plant 100 trees as part of the ABQ NeighborWoods program in the South San Pedro neighborhood!
4/27/2019 at 8:00 am for loaders and trucks, at 9:30 am for planters
Please wear closed toed shoes. Bring gloves, a water bottle, and a shovel. A hat and sunscreen are recommended.
Snacks will be provided.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

The South San Pedro neighborhood has less tree canopy than the city average, Most of the trees planted during the event will be to help shade walking paths that the kids use to get to and from the schools in this neighborhood.
