Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Front desk receptionist duties to include answering phones, directing calls, assisting walk ins, general mailing, resource room stocking and office supply inventory. Administrative Assistant duties include data entry of helpline calls and daily donation entries. Other Administrative work may include assistance with fundraising event preparation in the office.

The Alzheimer's Associations offers information and referral to those living with the disease and their family caregivers and provides free education classes to family caregivers along with access to over 45 support groups. All services are provided statewide with 5 regional offices serving the state. The Association also coordinates multiple fundraising events across the state

Training will be provided regarding the disease and Association programs and services along with database training and help line training.

Additional Requirements: 

Solid phone skills along with computer and basic software skills are needed. Must be comfortable with helpline type calls. Must have at least a general understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel along with Gmail. Also, must be comfortable with data base entry. Business casual/professional attire is required
