Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

The Friends of the Mark Armijo Academy are seeking active Board Members to support and champion the Mark Armijo Academy. The board provides financial oversight, supports fundraising efforts, recommends specific committee initiatives, supports facility management, and actively participates in the implementation of various programs and projects to achieve the Mark Armijo Academy’s mission. The mission of the Mark Armijo Academy is to provide a quality and relevant education in a community that promotes caring and belonging for all students, especially those who seek a more personal and innovative educational setting.

This is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual who is passionate about the Mark Armijo Academy’s mission. Selected Board Members will have achieved leadership stature in business, government, philanthropy, or the nonprofit sector. His/her accomplishments will allow him/her to attract other well-qualified, high-performing champions to support our mission.
