Volunteers will welcome/assist educators, parents, and researchers working with gifted students to a convention at which they may share ideas, learn and network to support their own home communities, including Albuquerque and school districts throughout the country.

The 66th Annual Convention of the National Association for Gifted Children ( will be held in Albuquerque's convention center, November 7-10, 2019. A volunteer-run local non-profit advocacy group, The Albuquerque Association for Gifted and Talented Students ( seeks volunteers to support the conference and welcome 2,500 educators, researchers, and parents from around the world. The conference also features a free public family day on Saturday, November 9th offering fun and educational activities for local children and their parents.
