Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Barrett House is seeking volunteer groups of 3 to 20 people to help us weed, do yard work and pickup trash around the Shelter throughout the spring and summer. School, church, sports and friend groups are invited to help us out for two to three hours on a weekday or Saturday. Please call Eilene to set up a time.

Our goal is to maintain the grounds to provide a clean and inviting environment for the women and children experiencing homeless that we serve as well as the volunteers and service providers who visit the shelter.

Nonprofit Will Provide: 

Barrett Foundation will provide rakes, shovels, work gloves, trash bags, water and snacks to volunteers.

Additional Requirements: 

Water and snacks will be provided. Volunteers are asked to wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.
