Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

The Friends of Valle de Oro Urban National Wildlife Refuge are looking for board members. It is an exciting time for the refuge with the start of the construction of the visitor center and the construction of two new wetlands and other restoration activities. The Friends group supports the mission of the refuge. Our newest endeavor is the Backyard Refuge Program. We are looking for someone with fundraising experience or event planning or grant writing experience or a lot of energy!
